Lotto at the Davis Cup Final with David Ferrer
The final of the Davis Cup between Spain and Argentina will be played in Seville from 2nd to 4th December in front of 27.700 spectators, a world record for a tennis match. Among the four players called up by the Captain of the Spanish National team Albert Costa, there will be the Lotto testimonial David Ferrer, world no.5 and Spain’s no.2 tennis player, who achieved two great victories against world no.1 Novak Djokovic and world no.3 Andy Murray during the London Masters last week.
David Ferrer and Rafael Nadal will play the singles, their team mates Feliciano López and Fernando Verdasco will play the doubles matches. David and his team mates will fight for Spain's fifth Davis Cup title in its history.
For this prestigious competition Lotto created an exclusive outfit for David Ferrer featuring the traditional colours of Spain, red and yellow. Both the uniform and the Raptor III shoes were reinterpreted with the Spanish colours and were enriched by details such as the bat, symbol of Valencia, David’s birthplace, on the back of the shorts and of the shoes as well as with the nickname of the Valencian player – Ferru – on the back of the shoe.
Ferrer’s outfit had great success in the Spanish media; the sports newspaper Marca released the picture of the outfit with a very positive comment that you will find in the press review attached.
